  • Meritz Financial Group, a total financial services group including insurance, securities, investment banking and asset management services, has leveraged the Oracle Application Development Framework 11g to realize the company’s mobile office environment.

  • Oracle Application Development Framework 11g enabled the company to build a mobile office infrastructure, which allows employees to access key functionalities of groupware – email, calendars, message board, and other business applications, anytime and anywhere.

  • Supporting all types of mobile devices including smart phones such as iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows 7, as well as tablets such as iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab, Oracle Application Development Framework 11g has helped the company reduce development costs since it eliminated the need to develop new screens for each device. The company also halved the development and deployment time to just three months.

  • With the Model-View-Controller design pattern provided by the Oracle Application Development Framework 11g, developers can use these connected but independently functioning layers to develop and maintain individual application components. This increased the efficiency of development work and improved collaboration among developers.

  • Meritz Financial Information Service, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) and subsidiary of Meritz Financial Group, was engaged to develop the portal and mobile service framework.

  • Meritz Financial Group awarded the project to Oracle in April 2010.
