Andrew Lau currently heads the Exalogic solution Specialist Sales team in Asia Pacific. His team spearheads the business development of the cutting edge engineered software and hardware solution in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to this role, he lead the Asia Pacific and Japan Communications Industry Solution Group which was a team of communication industry experts that provided leadership in helping customers deploy state of the art technologies.

Andrew has more than 15 years in the telecommunications industry holding positions in R&D departments, managing technical consultants as well as managing regional sales team.

In his previous role, Andrew was the General Manager of the Communications, Media and Utilities Industry, ASEAN, Oracle Corporation. In that position, he was responsible for the software license business in communications, utilities and media industries in ASEAN. He leads a team of sales professionals in helping customers with enterprise software solutions.

Prior to that, Andrew was the General Manager for Network and Service (NSP) Provider Business in Hewlett Packard leading the AP NSP Industry and Solution Marketing team. There, he was responsible for driving sales and solution-marketing activities in the region. Andrew has also lead Agilent Technologies’ consulting team for service providers in Asia. He has also worked for Telekom Malaysia where he was involved in the development of management systems for transmission networks. Additionally, Andrew has also spent 3 years on Research and Development in communications systems with SEL-Alcatel, Stuttgart, Germany.

Andrew graduated from the University of London with PhD and BSc, both in Electrical Engineering.
